Opportunities in Poland

Poland Lacrosse Foundation represents Poland lacrosse throughout North America. All proceeds and activities benefit lacrosse in Poland.

We are excited to announce two new men’s lacrosse opportunities in Poland, this Summer and beyond. (Don’t worry, we’re working on an exciting women’s opportunity as well)


Poland National Men’s and U21 field teams are conducting a joint training camp followed by the European Lacrosse Challenge July 17- 24 in Wroclaw, Poland.

All Poland Heritage team members and those wanting to join the team are eligible and invited to represent Team Poland at training camp and in the tournament to face other national teams from Europe. World Lacrosse eligibility does not apply for this event.

As a bonus, this event will serve as one of our tryout opportunities for the 2022 U21 World Championship in Limerick, Ireland. Players must be born on or between Sept 1, 1999 and August 31, 2006 and meet World Lacrosse eligibility requirements in order to participate in Limerick.

Cost: $400 USD, includes room, meals, and playing fees

Plan on arriving In Wroclaw July 16 for 3 days of training camp followed by 5 days of games and departing on July 25.


2022 European Box Lacrosse Championship tryouts and tournaments.

To tryout, players must attend 1 training camp in Poland or 2 training camps in USA (TBD).


2021

Tryouts in Opole, Poland 2021
July 31 to Aug 1 and Aug 7-8 (attendance at 1 will meet tryout requirement)
Cost: $100 USD per weekend, includes room and tryout fees

Frank Menschner Cup 2021, Prague, Czech Republic
Sept 2-4
Cost: $250 USD, includes room, airport transportation and tournament fee

2022

Tryouts at EBOX in Prague, Czech Republic
April 22-24
Cost: $200 USD, includes camp, full games, room

Aleš Hřebeský Memorial in Prague, Czech Republic
April 27-30
Cost: $250 USD, includes airport transportation, room and tournament fee
This event is not considered a tryout (But you’re already in Prague for EBOX, so you might as well stay)


Options include:

  • Attend any standalone options listed above.
  • Attend the weeklong field event and stay in Poland the following week to be a tourist and then attend box training camp/tryout.
  • Attend both box training camps/tryouts. Tour Poland the week between.
  • Stay in Poland for 3 weeks and participate in all of the field and box events.
  • Any combination of events you want to participate in.
    Expenses outside of event windows would be out of pocket

NOTES on National Teams

Players must meet World Lacrosse eligibility requirements in order to participate in Euro and World Championship tournaments. Rosters are limited to 23 players and only 4 non-passport players are permitted for each event, so roster slots are very limited.
