Poland Lacrosse – Sixes National Team Evaluation
Poland Lacrosse is currently seeking eligible players for evaluation for the Sixes National Team. All participants in Olympic qualifying events and the Olympic Games must hold a Polish passport. If you do not currently possess a Polish passport, you may be eligible for one if your most recent ancestor who emigrated from Poland did so after 1920. We are partnered with FiveToEurope who can support with this process.
If you are a passport holder or are eligible for a Polish Passport and are interested in being considered for the roster, please complete the Sixes application.
While the pathway to Olympic qualification has not yet been finalized by World Lacrosse and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), we anticipate the following structure for qualification:
YEAR | MEN | WOMEN |
October 2025 | Sixes Tournament in Canada (evaluation of final roster)
March 2026 | European Sixes Championship to qualify for Worlds | World Games (not a qualifier) |
Early 2027 | European Sixes Championship to qualify for Worlds
Early 2028 | World Sixes Championships to qualify for Olympics | World Sixes Championships to qualify for Olympics |
Summer 2028 | Olympics |
In preparation for these events, Poland Lacrosse will host invite-only training camps and exhibition games. Player evaluations will primarily take place during Heritage Team field and box tournaments, festivals, and other competitive events in North America and in Poland. While formal tryouts may be scheduled, our coaching staff prioritizes evaluations in live competition settings such as the Heritage Cup, LAXNAI, World Junior Box Championships and more.
