Volunteers across the country make lacrosse a successful sport and we work hard to ensure that they are supported in their chosen volunteering role.
Our Volunteer Roles:

Coaches are a specialist area of volunteering. They help lacrosse enthusiasts to develop their skills and as a result, are key to increasing participation in the sport. Coaching positions are available (or are of consideration) for our Men’s and Women’s Heritage Teams, National Teams and Club Teams. Thinking about a vacation, but also bringing your lacrosse knowledge to good use? Poland Welcomes you. Is it of interest to go to Poland, but just can’t pull it off this year? Our Polish Heritage Teams in the US would love you to coach for a tournament or two over the summer.
Social Media Manager
Have a knack for getting likes, followers and attention to your social accounts? There are 1-2 positions available for someone interested managing our official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, which is a great way stay involved with day-to-day activities with all things, Poland Lacrosse. The desired candidate will have to have proven experience managing multiple accounts while contributing exciting content on a daily basis. Communication is key, as the desired individual(s) will be constantly retrieving content and updates from players and coaches in Poland.
Event organising is a brilliant place to start your volunteering adventure! You will be led by a section team leader who will be on hand to provide you with information about your duties before and during the event which can include game set-up, commercial advertisement, fixture scheduling and distributing the prizes post-event.
Lacrosse knowledge – not essential but a little helps
Time commitment – one to two days per event
Progression – section leader, event committee, event director
This role is integral to the development of Polish-related lacrosse activities. At the moment, almost everything is player-funded, however, there is an entire network of Polish organizations, restaurants and individuals who have no idea what special things are taking place. We need someone to find who they are, and explain to them how a small donation will go a long way. The desired candidate will have experience formalizing emails, designing brochures, making phone calls and rolling up their sleeves to help get these people and groups involved.
