The Annual Heritage cup will be held May 23rd-26th in Weston, MA alongside the NCAA Final Four.
This is primarily an opportunity for North American-based athletes to contribute to the development of international lacrosse by raising awareness, funds and participating in equipment drives for their ancestral homelands.
The Poland Lacrosse Foundation was established to help develop the sport of lacrosse in Poland, to assist in fundraising for league & National Teams, and to bring those with heritage back to their roots. The Heritage Cup is the best way we/you can achieve this goal! Additionally, Polish Heritage teams are entered into events as a means for both National Team and non-national team players to get more experience, playing time, and coaching in non-World Lacrosse or European Lacrosse events.
Both the Men’s and Women’s Field and Sixes National Programs will utilize this event to evaluate eligible individuals for addition to the National Teams Player Pools. Eligibility for the Polish Heritage team is more flexible than for the Polish National Teams, as heritage only/non-passport holders are welcomed (see National Team Vision (Player Eligibility & Selection Policy for more information on eligibility for our National Teams).
Polish Heritage teams will be entered into the following divisions at the Heritage Cup:
- Men’s Open
- Women’s Open
- Boy’s U-19
- Boy’s U-15
- Boy’s U-13
Player registration and check-in is at Regis College on Friday, May 23rd, and the program will run through the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Championship Game on Monday, May 26th. Games will take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We encourage you to look into hotels/Airbnb’s as soon as possible!

*Uniform/apparel orders are closed as of April 2nd. We have purchased extras just in case, which you can purchase on-site. Returning players are not required to purchase new uniforms.
