2023 International Indoor Junior Lacrosse Championship

Poland Lacrosse Foundation represents Poland lacrosse throughout North America. All proceeds and activities benefit lacrosse in Poland.

We are excited to announce the Poland Heritage Box Team will be participating in its third IIJL Lacrosse Championship.

This year we will be bringing 3 teams:

  • World U21 – August 7-12 2023 | Saskatoon, SK, Canada | Player eligibility – Birth year: 1/1/2003 – 12/31/2005 [Limited by invitation only. Please email info@polandlacrosse.org to inquire]
  • World U18 – August 23-26 2023 | Utica, New York | Player eligibility – Birth year: 1/1/2006 – 12/31/2007
  • World U16 – August 28-31 2023| Utica, New York | Player eligibility – Birth year: 1/1/2008 – 12/31/2009

Playing for the Poland Heritage Box Team in the International Indoor Junior Lacrosse Championship is a highly coveted experience, in which roster spots are limited. We will be limiting the roster to 23 players (2 Goalies and 21 Runners).


Eligibility Requirements:
As a “participating nation” any player must meet the below:

Age Cutoff:

  • U21 (Juniors) – 20 or younger in 2023
  • U18 – 17 or younger in 2023
  • U16 – 15 or younger in 2023

Heritage Eligibility

  • PARENTS – A birth parent, adoptive parents/guardian, or step-parent born in Poland
  • GRANDPARENTS – A birth or adoptive grandparent(s) born in Poland; step-grandparent(s) are not acceptable
  • GREAT GRANDPARENTS – A birth or adoptive great grandparent(s) born in Poland; step-great grandparent(s) are not acceptable
  • MARRIAGE – Partner/spouse being a passport holder of the country, with the qualification that the partner/spouse, and husband, must be resident in the country being represented
